Lakari business area attracts green transition investments

The Lakari logistics and business park is located about seven kilometres from the port of Rauma, at the junction of highways 8 and 12, where an interchange ensures smooth transport connections to the road network. The area has access to the Fingrid 400 kV network.

The City of Rauma has launched a land-use planning project for a sub-zoned area of more than 200 hectares, which will be zoned Tkem.

Lakari-Liinala business area

The Lakari-Liinala business park is located around the Luostarinkylä interchange on highway 8. The new area connects the existing Susivuori and Lakari employment and business areas. The area has the advantage of close links to the road network. The land-use plan also provides for the continued development of the road network in the future.

The Lakari-Liinala area has a building capacity of around 304 000 m2 of floor space. The total area of the site is approximately 198 hectares. The area to the north-west of the 8 motorway is part of the Susivuori industrial estate. The zoning plan does not contain precise plot and block divisions, but the building sites can be varied to meet different needs. The plan allows for the construction of industrial, warehouse and logistics buildings, as well as office space. Part of the building rights are available for production-related retail space and wholesale and business sales.
