City of Rauma supports summer employment for young people

Young people from Rauma or Ruma who have gone to study can apply for summer work support for a summer job or self-employment. The total value of the summer work grant is 400 euros.

The summer work voucher is a 400 euro contribution to the employer’s wage costs and is intended to help young people find summer work in companies in Rauma or Rauma. The summer job must take place in Rauma and the young person must live either full-time or for the summer in Rauma. The young person applies for the summer work voucher themselves. The voucher is valid for three weeks at a time.

The Summer Entrepreneurs 2024 campaign the young person sets up a business for the summer. You can start a business on your own or with a friend. The aim is to help young people in the area to find summer employment through entrepreneurship. The summer entrepreneurs are supported by a summer entrepreneur mentor hired by the City of Rauma.
