At-home voting

An eligible voter whose ability to move or act is so limited that they cannot reach a voting station or an advance voting station without undue difficulty is allowed to vote in advance at their home in Finland, within the municipality that is registered as their municipality of residence in the voter register.

In connection with home voting, a caregiver, as defined in the Act on Caregiver Support (937/2005), who lives in the same household as the voter entitled to home voting, may also vote, provided that the municipality is registered as their municipality of residence in the voter register.
