Facility Services
The City of Rauma Facility Services Service Division acts as the property owner of the city’s directly owned buildings and condominiums. Its main tasks are the maintenance and upkeep of the existing buildings and the construction of new buildings and renovation projects carried out by the city.
Facility Services also include the Housing Management Unit, which is responsible for the management of the property companies owned by the City, and the Marina Unit, which is responsible for the management of the marinas owned by the City.

Facility Services in Numbers
- It employs around 70 people.
- The total building mass under management is around 270 000 brm² and the volume is around 1 300 000 m³.
- The total number of rental apartments is around 1 300.
Approximately 1 600 berths in seven different harbours. - Economic indicators for 2023:
- Revenues of around 29 million euros
- Expenses around 28,7 million euros
- In addition to day-to-day maintenance and upkeep, in 2023 the facilities services made investments of around 39,5 million euros.
Service Requests From Social and Healthcare Real Estate
If you notice any flaws, observations or deficiencies in the social and healthcare properties or premises managed by the City of Rauma – send a service request to the Facility Services.
In very urgent cases a phone call about the need for a repair may be necessary. In all acute and urgent cases, get in contact with the Facilities Services’ Property Helpdesk, tel. +358 500 723 137.
The service request notification is forwarded to the person in charge, who will confirm that the work has been started within three days at the latest. You will receive information on the status of your service request by e-mail if you have filled in your address details in the service request notification.
Instructions for Making a Service Request
1. First, select the property you want to make a service request for in the system. Click on the property to go to the ‘new service request’ page. You then select the building in question from the main unit.
2. You then select the classification that best suits your service request from the ‘Classification’ section. In the description section, you enter what has happened, what is needed and further information.
3. You can choose an automatic confirmation. You can also attach a document to the service request. You then need to enter your name in the ‘Notifier’ field, your sector or unit in the ‘Organisation’ field, your email address and phone number, then submit.
Mandatory information is the name, email and phone number of the informer.
