Kaposvar Cooperation

Twinning with Kaposvar in Hungary dates back to 1991. The friendship is based on kinship between the two nations, as well as cultural and social cooperation.

The aim is to develop relations and interaction between the inhabitants of the cities. Twinning encourages and supports meetings between associations and individuals, creates links in the fields of education, culture, sport and environmental protection, and pays particular attention to strengthening economic and tourist ties.

Representatives from Rauma visit Kaposvar annually for the City of Painters Festival, and Rauma invites representatives from Kaposvar to visit annually, usually during Festivo.
