Licence to Serve Alcohol

Requirements

Alcohol Service Licences are issued by the regional administrative authority. Applications are submitted to the Regional State Administrative Agencies of Southwest Finland. You should allow about two months for the application to be processed. When issuing temporary licences, special attention is paid to the nature and scale of the event, the licensing arrangements and the applicant’s ability to supervise and maintain order at the event.

The application must be accompanied by a schedule of the event or occasion and a map of the licenced premises. There must be evidence that the premises or outdoor area of the event is under the control of the applicant during the event. Organisers must demonstrate that there are sufficient sanitary facilities for the event.
