Accessibility Statement
Accessibility of the Rauma.fi and Visitrauma.fi Websites
This accessibility statement describes how Rauma.fi online services comply with the Finnish Act on the Provision of Digital Services, describes any defects in the websites’ accessibility, and how you can provide us feedback on accessibility issues.
The observations in this accessibility statement are based on a third-party assessment of whether the online service meets legal requirements. The statement applies to the Rauma.fi and Visitrauma.fi websites.
The online services are run by the communication and marketing services of the City of Rauma. The technical developer of the websites is Valu Digital Oy. Accessibility is regularly evaluated with the SiteImprove tool.
We want as many people as possible to be able to use our digital services. Accessibility is always taken into consideration in the development of our digital services.
How Accessible are the Websites?
This online service largely meets the A and AA level accessibility criteria required by law (WCAG criteria 2.1).
The online service is not yet fully accessible. There are PDF files published after 23 September 2018 that have accessibility gaps. Problems may occur in areas such as structure and formatting, colour contrasts, textual responses to images and graphics and file naming (1.1.1), (1.3.1), (1.4.1), (1.4.3), (1.4.11).
Social Media Channels
The City of Rauma’s social media channels take accessibility into account to the extent possible for each channel. For example, efforts will be made to subtitle videos and provide alternative captions for images.
Preparation of the Accessibility Statement
This statement was issued on 2.9.2024. It is based on an assessment by an external expert organisation of whether the website meets the requirements of the Act on the Provision of Digital Services. In addition, the evaluation has been carried out by the city itself.
It was last updated on 9.9.2024.
