The Finnish Heritage Agency’s funding for preserving the World Heritage Site

The agency’s grants are given primarily to actions that ensure the location stays worthy of the title of a World Heritage Site.

The focus areas are conservation, restoration and preservative repairs, repairs that maintain traditional and craft-based building methods, the employment of experts and professionals in restoration and conservation, and repair plans and studies that aid in preservative repairs.

The grants can be applied for by the owners of the heritage sites and its buildings. The grants can be applied for once per year.
