Hevossuo Waste Treatment Centre arranges garden waste weeks in Spring and Fall, during which time garden wastes (includes apples) are free of charge. We charge a fee for household etc. wastes.

Invasive Alien Species

Reception of Invasive Alien Species to Hevossuo Waste Treatment Centre is free of charge. Info about your waste load at the reception office and you will be guided to the right place.
Small amounts of Invasive Alien Species with roots can be disposed with domestic waste in packed form. Notice that the container’s weight doesn’t go over the limit of 60kg.

You can bring to collection free of charge, for example the following hazardous household wastes: oils, batteries, car batteries, paints, solvents, fluorescent, pesticides, medicines.

• Pack and mark your hazardous wastes!
• NO EXPLOSIVES! Report explosives to the police.
• NO BARRELS!
• NO ELECTRICAL DEVICES
• NO DRY CONCRETE BAGS
• Contact the Hevossuo Waste Treatment Centre (tel. 044 403 6420) for larger amounts of hazardous wastes.

Don’t bring hazardous wastes in advance of the collection or after the collection.
