The waste management tent site can be found in the silakkamarkkinat at section 146. Silakkamarkkinat is open Saturday 9 am to 5 pm and Sunday 9 am to 4 pm. The market site is on both sides of the Rauma Canal.

Hevossuo Waste Treatment Centre arranges garden waste weeks in Spring and Fall, during which time garden wastes (includes apples) are free of charge. We charge a fee for household etc. wastes.

Invasive Alien Species

Reception of Invasive Alien Species to Hevossuo Waste Treatment Centre is free of charge. Info about your waste load at the reception office and you will be guided to the right place.
Small amounts of Invasive Alien Species with roots can be disposed with domestic waste in packed form. Notice that the container’s weight doesn’t go over the limit of 60kg.
