Urban planning and land use
Land use planning creates the conditions for a good living environment and its development. The key role of land use planning is to reconcile different perspectives and objectives. Depending on the nature and importance of the plan, it proceeds in several stages.
Plans under presentation
Plans are prepared in consultation with those whose conditions or interests they affect. Municipalities and county councils provide information on current planning projects on their websites, in newspapers and in planning reviews. Information on planning ensures that stakeholders have the opportunity to follow and influence planning. Stakeholders are those whose circumstances or interests may be significantly affected by the plan.
