Rentable rooms
The Central Library has two conference rooms, a computer room and three research rooms for rent. Glass screens and screens for exhibitions are also available for rent.
The larger meeting room and teaching room are located on the 1st floor of the Central Library next to the main entrance, while the smaller meeting room is accessible from the ground floor of the adult section. These rooms are available during library opening hours.
The Lappi branch library magazine and newspaper room can be rented outside the library’s opening hours.
Larger conference room
The room can accommodate 25 people, 40 people without tables. An overhead projector, laptop and data projector can be set up on request.
Associations pay 22 € per hour, 40 € for two hours and 6 € for additional hours. Companies and individuals pay 40 € per hour, 75 € per two hours and 15 € per additional hour.
Smaller conference room
The meeting room can seat up to 15 people at a table. A projector, laptop and data projector can be set up on request. Associations pay 16 € per hour, 22 € for two hours and 5 € for additional hours. Companies and individuals pay 22 € per hour, 42 € per two hours and 8 € per additional hour.
Computer classroom / teaching space
Computer room for 12 people. One hour of computer class costs 40 €, two hours 75 € and 15 € per additional hour.
Research rooms
You can book a research room for three months at a time. The monthly rent is 70 €, the weekly rent 25 € and the short-term use (2 hours) 5 €.
Exhibition space
In the Central Library lobby, partitioning screens for display and glass vitrines. Associations 12 € / week, individuals and companies 22 € / week. Exhibitions for children under 20 years old are free of charge.
Lappi library magazine and newspaper room
The magazine and newspaper room can be rented as a meeting room outside the library’s opening hours. The room can accommodate up to 20 people. The first hour costs 10 € and 2 € per additional hour.
