Museum services
The museum sites in Old Rauma are unique environments for celebrations and meetings, and contain a wide range of professional expertise. We offer the use of museum facilities and staff expertise in accordance with a service fee.
Museum education
The museums participate in the City of Rauma’s Cultural Education Plan, which involves annual visits to museums by selected school classes of different age groups (grades 1, 3, 4 and 7) from the entire Rauma region. The tours of the Rauma Art Museum introduce the pupils to current exhibitions and give them the feeling that visiting art museums is an everyday activity that everyone can enjoy. Exploring art opens up opportunities to structure the world in a creative way, through visual means. Rauma Museum organises baking workshops for schoolchildren and dramatic Granlund tours, giving pupils a glimpse into life in the past and learning practical skills.

Information sercive
The information service can answer questions about the museum’s own collections and archives, the artists of the region and, to a lesser extent, the history of Rauma and the surrounding area.
Requests for information are primarily made by telephone and e-mail. Be sure to visit the Rauma Museum collections in Finna.
Meeting venues and facilities
The Marela Dining Room can be rented for meetings, lectures and small-scale events. The room is equipped with a video projector and a screen. Seating for up to 20 people.

Conservation and lectures
The Rauma City Museums offer conservation services to individuals, companies and associations. Conservation work is carried out by the textile conservator, whose offices are located in Isometsä at Isometsäntie 3. The price of conservation work according to the service price list is EUR 62 per hour.
The museums’ staff have extensive expertise in art and cultural history. We are happy to come and speak at various events.
