UNESCO World Heritage Sites
There are currently seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Finland, two of which are located in Rauma. Enchanting Old Rauma was chosen to the UNESCO World Heritage list in 1991 as a unique example of a living and well maintained old Nordic wooden town. Another of Rauma’s sites is the Bronze Age burial site of Sammallahdenmäki.
