Youth outreach Cafe
Detective Youth Work organises Detective Cafe evenings at the Kuov Youth Centre on Tuesdays from 16:00-19:00 on an “open door” basis. The evenings are open to all young people aged 17-28. There will be coffee and snacks, games and relaxed get-togethers. Welcome! From 14.5.2024 the activities will be closed for the summer.
Rainbowy evenings
Rainbowy evenings will resume on Wednesday 17.1.2024 at the Kuov Youth Centre and will continue until spring -24. The group meets every other week, always on odd weeks from 16-18.
The evenings are for all young people under 29 years of age from sexual and gender minorities and those who are thinking about their identity, as well as their friends. The evenings include games, art, cooking and making new friends. You are welcome to come as you are!

LOT-group
The LOT group is for young people aged 16-22. You should join if you feel lonely, want to talk to other young people and/or want to strengthen your self-esteem and self-confidence. In the group you can confidentially discuss your own life situation, learn to identify your feelings and explore your thoughts about life, and hear the thoughts of other young people.
Wellbeing Group
The wellbeing group meets at Kuovi Youth Centre on Mondays 25.3.2024 from 13-15.The group is for young people under 29 years of age who need peer support, tips to support their wellbeing and things to do during the day. For more information, contact the youth outreach workers.
Time out! Aikalisä!
Time-out activities offer support and guidance to all young people of conscription, military and civilian service age. As part of its basic work, the Youth Work Service carries out Time Out activities based on cooperation between the Defence Forces, the Civilian Service Centre, the State Treasury and the municipalities, and is responsible for activities in all Finnish municipalities. Outreach youth workers participate in call-up events organised by the Defence Forces and meet all young people who are subject to call-up.
