Winter parking restrictions come into force. Signs informing about the restrictions will be installed from Tuesday 17.12.
On Kalliokatu between Vähämaanpuisto-Satamakatu, Steniuksenkatu between Tornelankuja-Polttlan papan polku and Tornelankuja, parking will be limited to 8 hours on weekdays. The restriction will be in places where there is normally no time limit at all. On Sepänkatu, on Meriraumantie between Mäkikatu light traffic exit-turning point and Kulmalankatu, alternate day parking will be in use.
Alternate day parking alternates between odd and even days, with the parking ban lasting from 8 a.m. on the day in question until 8 a.m. on the following day. This is the first time that alternating parking is being tried out in Rauma.
