The City of Rauma awarded Teijo Kööpikkä for his bronze medal in the World Para Athletics Championships

The City of Rauma has awarded shot putter Teijo Kööpikkä with a 1000 euro scholarship for his bronze medal in the World Para Athletics Championships. The scholarship and congratulations were awarded by the Mayor of Rauma Esko Poikela at the City Hall on 25.6.2024
Kööpikkä won the bronze medal in the F57 class at the World Paraathlon Championships in Kobe, Japan in May with a score of 14.74.
Teijo’s next competition is in August-September when he will represent Finland at the Summer Paralympics in Paris, France.
