Open House Day will be held at the Karin kampus on 11 October

City residents and anyone interested will have the opportunity to learn more about the activities and operators on the Karin kampus on Open House Day, which will be held on Friday 11 October from 3.30 PM to 7 PM. The event is free of charge and there is no need to register in advance.
– Activities at the Karin kampus are already well underway and the facilities are bustling with users. It will of course take time to get the large building up and running, but we are now getting ready to show the premises to the city’s residents, principal of the Hj. Nortamo Comprehensive School and campus director Kaisa Eskola summarises.
On the campus, the different departments will be presenting their facilities on an Open House Day. The staff of the Rauma Art Museum will also be on hand to showcase the art on display. Café Oskari is also open.
– The event will provide an opportunity to learn about the activities of the Hj. Nortamo Comprehensive School, the Music Institute, Rauma Adult Education Centre, the Art and Theatre school, the youth centre and the gymnasium. The open day does not include the swimming hall. The opening of the swimming hall will be announced at a later date, Eskola says.
Visitors can park their cars in the car park behind the campus. Karin kampus is located at Aittakarinkatu 10.
