Land surveys to start in Kourujärvi for the planning of the replacement of water and sewerage lines

Rauma Water is planning to renew water and sewer lines in the Kourujärvi area. The plan will be drawn up on the basis of ground surveys, which will be carried out by the city’s real estate and surveying department.
The plan requires up-to-date information on the presence of pipelines, valves and manholes in the ground. Measurement crews will move around the streets of Kourujärvi and, if necessary, property areas.
– A survey of the properties will be carried out to identify the house wells and their connection heights. To facilitate the measuring work, we ask property owners to remove any obstacles in the way of the manholes,” says Mika Palmulaakso, survey engineer.
Measurements will start in spring and continue until the snow comes. Measurement teams will travel in vehicles and clothing bearing the City of Rauma’s logos. The people in the measurement team will also have photo IDs.
