Exceptions and changes to the opening hours of city services during the Christmas period
News
Christmas, New Year and Epiphany bring some exceptions to the services and opening hours of the City of Rauma.
City services are closed from 24 to 26 December for Christmas, 1 January for New Year’s Day and 6 January for Epiphany, unless otherwise stated.
Rauma City Hall and the services in the City Hall area, including the food and cleaning service, the management office and the city switchboard will be closed from 23 to 27 December 2024.
Service point Pyyrman will be open on normal weekdays and will also serve as a reception point for documents.
Tourist information
Savila Tourist Information is open until 3.1. from Monday to Sunday 11-16.
Closed 24.-26.12. and 1.1.
From 4 to 31 January, the Savila Tourist Office is closed, but advice is available by phone or e-mail.
Library
Kodisjoki library closed 20.12.-6.1.
Library bus not running from 20.12.-6.1.
On Monday 23.12. the main library is open from 9-17, the libraries of Kourujärvi, Lappi and Pyynpää are open from 10-17.
On Tuesday 31.12. the main library is open 9-15, Kourujärvi, Lappi and Pyynpää libraries 10-15.

Changes in emptying cycles:
During the Christmas week, routes will run on Mon 23 Dec, Thu 26 – Sat 28 Dec.
First week of January routes will run for four days, no service on Wednesday 1.1.
In Eurajoki, there may also be a run on Saturday 4.1.
The routes for the second week of January will run from Tuesday to Friday. Emptying of waste bins in Old Rauma on Tuesday.
Youth Services
The youth centre Viklo on the Karin campus is closed from 20.12.-6.1.
Youth centre Kuovi is closed from 21.12.-9.1.
Ohjaamo is closed from 13.12.-6.1.
