Around The Canal walk will be held this year on the 8th of May

This year, the Around the Canal walk will take place for the third time as part of the nationwide Exercise Day of Dreams. The walking event organised by the City of Rauma and the Rauman Seudun Työnhakijat ry will take place on Thursday 8 May at 15.00. The event will start with warm-ups in the courtyard of Rauma City Hall, Kanalinranta 3.
After the warm-up, a walk of about 3.2 kilometres around the Canal will take place. Along the route there will be a additional activities. Participants will also be served sausages and coffee or juice.
International House Rauma, Samk CampusMove and the Rauma Business Students’ Guild will also participate in the event. The event is part of the City of Rauma’s well-being programme. The aim of the programme is to strengthen the ability of local residents, especially children, young people and families with children, to function, move around and improve mental well-being.
